Papillion 150 and the Bianchi Family are excited to bring the Butterfly Effect to our community. As part of Papillion 150, Butterfly Effect Social Butterfly Installations — large butterfly murals — will be created throughout Papillion.
The first mural was created in the alley between the Papillion Community Foundation and Brownie’s Watering Hole leading up to Papillion Days 2019. More murals have since been created in 2020 and 2021 at Shadow Lake Towne Center, the Sarpy Community YMCA and Tara Plaza. More to come!
We encourage you to tag Papillion 150 when you post your pictures in front of the murals to social media and use these hashtags:
What is the Butterfly Effect?
The Butterfly Effect is a grassroots movement redefining philanthropy one “butterfly” at a time by providing individuals the opportunity to give to a cause close to their heart. Harnessing the power of social media, the Butterfly Effect creates a ripple effect of contagious generosity through its Butterfly Drops and Social Butterfly Installations. The movement is built on the idea that each and every person can be the change they want to see in the world by actively engaging in kindness, generosity and creativity. When posting photos with each Butterfly Effect mural, we encourage you to use the hashtags listed for each location so we can see the joy they are bringing to our community!
